Booking is simple:

  1. Choose your preferred date, time and package.

Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

💳Do I need to pay a deposit?›

Yes. A €30 deposit is required to secure all bookings. The remaining balance is payable on the day.

This allows us to reserve your date, prepare your setup and purchase any items needed for your picnic.

❌What is your cancellation policy?›

Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of your booking.

Late cancellations may also incur additional charges if preparation has already started or if specific items such as food, drinks, balloons, flowers, cakes or personalised extras have already been purchased.

💨What happens if it’s windy or the weather changes?›

We always check the local forecast before every picnic. If the wind or weather makes it unsafe or uncomfortable, we’ll offer to:

  • Change the time
  • Switch to a more sheltered spot
  • Or reschedule to another day

No penalty for weather-related changes.

📍Can you set up at our villa, garden, or a different beach?›

Yes. Our standard beach picnic setup is in Lo Pagán. If you would like us to set up at a villa, private garden, or another approved location around the Mar Menor area, you can add our Custom Location Picnic option for +€20.

All picnics include:

  • Boho décor, blankets and cushions
  • Low picnic table with styling
  • Plates, glasses and cutlery
  • Fairy lights or candles for ambience

Yes. Optional drinks and food packages can be arranged in advance. All food is catered for by Rosi Cafeteria Encuentro, a popular local café known for quality grazing boards, sweet treats and celebration cakes.

Menu options can include:

  • Curated grazing and sweet picnic options
  • Celebration extras such as cakes, balloons and special touches
  • Drinks packages by request

⏱How long does the experience last?›

Standard picnics last up to 2 hours. If you’d like extra time, let us know and we’ll confirm whether an extension is possible on your chosen date.

Absolutely. Our picnic experiences are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals and other special occasions, with optional extras available on request.

🎁Do you offer gift vouchers?›

Yes. We offer digital gift vouchers, which make a lovely present for birthdays, anniversaries, romantic surprises or someone visiting the Mar Menor.

Once payment is received, we send a personalised voucher that can be given to the recipient.

📅Can the recipient choose the date later if it’s a gift?›

Yes. For gift vouchers, the recipient can contact us later to choose a date that suits them, subject to availability.

🕒How much notice do you need?›

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for sunsets, weekends, birthdays and special occasions.

Short-notice bookings may be possible, but they depend on availability, catering and setup requirements.

👥Is the €75 price for two people?›

Yes. Our standard picnic experience is €75 for two people at our usual beach location in Lo Pagán. If you would prefer a custom location, there is an additional €20 setup fee.

1. About the serviceSunkissed Picnics Santiago provides private picnic, catering and event-setup services in the Mar Menor area.Bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when:* The booking details have been agreed
* The €30 deposit has been received
* Sunkissed Picnics has confirmed the booking in writing2. Prices and paymentPrices shown to consumers include applicable Spanish taxes unless stated otherwise.The remaining balance is due 5 days before the booking.For bookings made fewer than 5 days in advance, the full balance is due when the booking is confirmed.Payment on the day may be agreed only as an exception and must be confirmed by Sunkissed Picnics in writing.Optional extras, personalised items and additional location charges must be paid as agreed before the booking.3. Customer cancellationsIf you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, the standard €30 deposit will be refunded.Personalised items, food, decorations or other extras purchased specifically for your booking are non-refundable once ordered or purchased. We will identify these costs where relevant.If you cancel fewer than 48 hours before the scheduled start time:* The €30 deposit is non-refundable
* Costs already spent or irreversibly committed for food, decorations, personalised items or other booking requirements are non-refundable
* Any remaining amount not spent or committed will be refundedNo refund is normally provided for a no-show or cancellation after the scheduled start time.4. Changes to a bookingRequests to change the date, time, location, guest numbers or package are subject to availability.Additional costs caused by a requested change must be paid before the booking.A requested change is not confirmed until Sunkissed Picnics agrees to it in writing.5. Weather and outdoor conditionsPicnics are outdoor services and may be affected by wind, rain, extreme heat, beach restrictions or other conditions outside our control.If Sunkissed Picnics considers that conditions make the booking unsafe or prevent the service from being delivered reasonably, we will offer one of the following where possible:* A different time
* A different date
* A suitable alternative location
* A refund where no reasonable alternative can be providedA customer decision not to attend because of weather preferences, where Sunkissed Picnics considers the service can still be delivered safely and reasonably, will be treated as a customer cancellation.6. Food allergies and dietary requirementsCustomers must provide accurate allergy and dietary information before food is ordered.We will take reasonable steps to communicate stated requirements to the food provider. However, food may be prepared in premises that handle common allergens, and a completely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.Customers with severe or life-threatening allergies should contact us before booking so we can confirm whether the request can be accommodated safely.7. AlcoholAlcohol will not be supplied to anyone under 18.We may refuse to provide alcohol where age is uncertain or where providing alcohol would be unlawful or unsafe.8. * Follow reasonable safety instructions
